Writing and cooking have always been a passion for me. What better way to combine both than to write a food blog. While i am not indulging in my passions, I am a software engineer by profession. I started this blog as a place to put some of the recipes which have been passed on to my mother from hers and then to me and my sister. After marriage, it got even better with the entire culinary range being different from a traditional Tam-Brahm one that I am used to. The Mysore/ Chikmaglur cuisine from my mother-in-law’s side of the family only piqued my interest more into cataloging these recipes. I am a sucker for traditional ways of cooking. I believe in using natural, fresh and unprocessed ingredients as much possible. That is the reason i love cooking Indian food as much as possible every day!
My sister, Roopa is also a contributor on this blog. She is a doctor by profession and hence a health freak 😉 Our daily phone conversations revolve around food, cooking, restaurants..you get the picture 🙂 We in our family are all foodies, but like to enjoy it responsibly!
